Pre-Departure Orientation for Outgoing Exchange Students 2026

The orientation provided essential information on course registration, course equivalency and credit transfer, as well as preparation and adjustment for studying and living abroad. Students also learned about activities and student clubs at partner universities, including International Day, where they can represent the Faculty and Thammasat University by promoting exchange opportunities to international students.
The session was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kaewkwan Tangtipongkul, Vice Dean for International Affairs, who introduced the Faculty’s administrators and shared information about International Day and Thai embassies abroad. Mrs. Raveewan Charoensilpchai, International Affairs Coordinator, B.E. International Program, provided guidance on course equivalency and credit transfer, while Mrs. Narisa Klieothong, International Affairs Coordinator, shared additional practical advice for students preparing for their exchange.
The orientation also featured experience sharing by three former exchange students—Ms. Sathima Klaewtanong, Ms. Valapa Pruekchatkul, and Mr. TTouch Swangkarn—who shared their experiences and useful tips from studying and living in Europe.
The orientation aimed to prepare outbound exchange students with essential knowledge and practical guidance to make the most of their international exchange experience and serve as ambassadors for the Faculty of Economics and Thammasat University.
