Ernst Mach-Grant Scholarship for Education and Research – ASEA-UNINET for Academic Year 2024-2025

The ASEAN-European Academic University Network (ASEA-UNINET) is currently accepting applications for the Ernst Mach-Grant – ASEA-UNINET scholarships. The primary aim of these scholarships is to support knowledge exchange between partner universities and member countries in both the European and Southeast Asian regions.

Basic Eligibility Criteria for Applicants:

  1. Nationality: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, or Vietnam.

  2. Age Criteria at the Time of Application:

    • For undergraduate and graduate levels: Not exceeding 35 years.
    • For Postdoc level: Not exceeding 45 years.

Fields of Study and Research: Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Human Medicine, Health Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, the Arts

Types of Grants:

  1. PhD Grant: Scholarship for doctoral studies.

    • Duration: 36 months
    • Grant: EUR 1,250 per month, plus a mobility subsidy of EUR 300 per month, and accommodation assistance.

  2. Postdoc Grant: Research grant for postdoctoral studies.

    • Duration: 3-9 months
    • Grant: EUR 1,250 per month, plus accommodation assistance.

  3. Music Practice Grant: Music scholarship for undergraduate and above.

    • Duration: 9 months
    • Grant: EUR 1,250 per month, plus accommodation assistance.

Application Deadline: March 1, 2024 (For Music Practice, the deadline is December 15, 2023)
