EconTU and SIBR Host the SIBR-Thammasat 2026 Bangkok Conference on Interdisciplinary Business & Economics Research

The Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University (EconTU), in collaboration with The Society of Interdisciplinary Business Research (SIBR), organized the international academic conference "SIBR-Thammasat 2026 Bangkok Conference on Interdisciplinary Business & Economics Research." The event took place from April 4 to 6, 2026, at the Jasmine City Hotel, Bangkok.

The conference was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chalermpong Kongcharoen, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and representative of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University, who presided over the opening ceremony and delivered the welcoming remarks.

The conference attracted significant interest from faculty members and scholars from international universities who presented numerous academic works. Additionally, Master’s degree students from the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University, also participated in the presentations, with details as follows:

Khun Phornchanok Srithanomwong presented on: "The Impact of US Monetary Policy Shocks on Thailand's Domestic Value Added: A Local Projection and Production Network Analysis"

Khun Saran Thaworn presented on: "Thailand's Position in Global Value Chains: A Network Centrality and Clustering Analysis"
