Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University Discusses with 'Mizuho Asian Fund' to Develop Scholarship Allocation Guidelines

On May 21, 2026, the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Loylom Prasertsri, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, and Khun Patcharin Tawan, Head of the Student Affairs Unit, held a discussion with Ms. Naoko Takahashi, Board Member of the Mizuho Asian Fund. The objective of this discussion was to exchange ideas and perspectives regarding the guidelines for allocating the Mizuho scholarships, as well as to jointly analyze past operational challenges and obstacles.

The Mizuho Asian Fund has continuously provided financial support through scholarships to undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University (Thai Program) for more than 19 years. The fund provides an annual budget of approximately 200,000 Baht, supporting an average of 10 student recipients per year.
