The ECONnect Club Holds "ECONnect Mentee Selection 03" to Select Mentees for the Mentoring Program

On 3 October 2026, the ECONnect Club, Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University, held the "Mentee Selection 03" event at KKP Tower to select students of the Faculty for the Mentoring Program. The highlight of the event was the Pitching round, themed "Why should a Mentor choose you for a Pair?", in which prospective Mentees conveyed their identity, intentions, and personal strengths, and presented what they hoped to gain from joining ECONnect Mentee 03, in front of Mentors — experienced alumni from a wide range of professional fields — before the official selection of participants for the program.
The ECONnect program is one of the key initiatives of the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University, focused on developing students in every dimension — not only academically, but also in preparing them for the real working world. It serves as an important platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and perspectives through a mentoring system (the Mentoring Program) that connects current students (Mentees) with alumni who have succeeded in various professional fields (Mentors). This exchange is not limited to the transfer of academic knowledge, but also builds processes for developing ideas, analytical skills, and the ability to adapt to the constantly changing economic and social context.
The ECONnect Club would like to thank Assoc. Prof. Dr. Peera Charoenporn, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University, for his support and for honoring the event with his presence. We would also like to thank all of our Mentors for their time, experience, and dedication in taking part in the selection process and exchanging perspectives with the applicants, and to thank all applicants for their commitment and determination throughout the selection process.
