The Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University, organized the "2026 Fire Fighting and Evacuation Training Program" to enhance knowledge, understanding, and essential skills in fire prevention and suppression. The program aimed to ensure all personnel are prepared to evacuate correctly and safely during emergencies, featuring both theoretical sessions and practical workshops, such as the use of various fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and a full-scale evacuation simulation.
The training was held across two campuses:
Rangsit Campus: Held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Puey Ungphakorn Meeting Room (4th Floor) and the assembly point at the Professor Sanya Dharmasakti Statue. The session was led by a team of professional firefighters from the Tha Khlong Municipality Fire Department, Pathum Thani Province.
Tha Prachan Campus: Held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Room 101 and the assembly point at the 1st Floor Hall, Faculty of Economics building. Expert trainers from the Phu Khao Thong Fire and Rescue Station, under the Bangkok Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD), provided the training and guided the practical drills.
