The 7th Trilateral Workshop in Economics

On 9 – 11 November 2020, Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University hosted “The 7th Trilateral Workshop in Economics” via Zoom application due to the Covid-19 situations.

The workshop has been co-organized by Faculty of Economics, Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Economic, Thammasat University, and Division of Economics, Nanyang Technological University. The purpose of the workshop is to promote collaborative research and publications.

The workshop provided academic knowledge in various Economics topics. Our faculty members’ research papers presented at the workshop are as follows.

The sessions that our faculty members were discussants are as follows.

Asst.Prof.Dr.Pawin Siriprapanukul was the discussant for the session, “How do taxpayers respond to tax subsidy for long-term savings? Evidence from Thailand’s tax return data” by Athiphat Muthitacharoen and Trongwut Buron, Chulalongkorn University.

Assoc.Prof.Dr.Archanun Kohpaiboon was the discussant for the session, “Understanding the Bimodality of the Export Intensity Distribution in a Developing Country” by Doungdao Mahakitsiri and Wisarut Suwanprasert, Chulalongkorn University.

Dr.Kiatanantha Lounkaew was the discussant for the session, “Rice, Culture and Democracy” by James Ang, Nanyang Technological University.
