Wat Pra Si Rattana Satsadarm

Temple of Emerald Buddha; full official name “Wat Pra Si Rattana Satsadarm” is also known as “Wat Prakaew”. The Emerald Buddha, a dark green statue, also known in Thai as Phra Phuttha Maha Mani Rattana Patimakorn is perceived as the most hallowed Buddha image in Thailand.

Wat Pra Chetuphon Vimolmangklaram Rajwaramahaviharn

Wat Po; full official name “Wat Pra Chetuphon Vimolmangklaram Rajwaramahaviharn” is also known as the “Temple of the Reclining Buddha” (46 metres long). Moreover, it is the school of medicine and the first public university in Thailand. Furthermore, it is known as the birthplace of Thai traditional massage which is still taught and practices at the temple.

Wat Arun Ratchawararam

Temple of Dawn; full official name “Wat Arun Ratchawararam” is known as “Wat Arun” and locally known as “Wat Chaeng”. The 70-metre high pagoda or “Pra Prang” is located on the east bank of Chao Phraya River. The temple’s encrusted with the multi-colored Chinese porcelain and the tiny pieces of color glass.
